Things to do When You Feel Yourself Getting Bad Again

Some days I really have trouble getting up and getting motivated. When depression or anxiety kicks in, it isn't easy being able to get up to do anything, such as, household chores, taking a shower, going out to run errands, etc.  So when I feel myself getting bad again, and after days of laying around aimlessly doing nothing, this is my go to do get off my butt and feel better.  Start folding that laundry, the more you walk by it, the more horrible you're going to feel. DO THOSE DISHES! Surprisingly, a clean house can make you feel a slight bit better with making you feel accomplished. And, the more you do it, and force yourself to do it, the less it will feel like a chore. Open the curtains, get some sunlight in the house and soak in it, look outside and imagine happiness and playing outside in the snow, or sunshine with your kid/and or kid.  Write how you feel. Get a journal, a piece of paper, a notebook, anything. Just write it down and remind your...

First of all, thank you for stopping by my blog, this is my first time ever doing this. I want to use this as a source of comfort for all that have gone through something of similar circumstances that I have also been through. I want to use my experiences to change the way other moms feel who deal with depression on a day to day basis. My goal with this is to show you that there is a way to feel sane and productive again, and for those of you who aren't coping or battling a mental illness, I hope to create a few different sections of DIY kid's crafts, makeup tips, easy dinner recipes, my budgeting plans, and just a few different aspects of everyday life that I use to make my life a little bit more fun and easier. I truly hope to reach out and hear the stories of those who had a life changing experience after battling their mental illness, or just to hear what makes you smile during your day!
